How to Apply

Pass the Eligibility Quiz. Click Apply and follow the instructions.
Submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Once the Eligibility Quiz is complete, you will be directed to complete and submit a Letter of Inquiry. After the LOI has been reviewed, if the submission indicates a potential fit with the Foundation’s priorities, applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. In the instance of a declined Letter of Inquiry, applicants must wait one year to reapply. During any phase of the application process, any institution may request a withdrawal of its application. The LOI review process can take approximately 3 months.
Complete a Full Proposal. Once the Foundation has invited you to submit a full proposal, please complete and submit the form through the Grants Portal. During this review period, the Foundation may contact your institution if any further information is needed and/or to schedule a site visit. The full proposal review process can take approximately 3 months.

Once the grant has been received, all grantees are required to submit a Grant Acknowledgement to confirm receipt. Please log in to your account to locate and submit the online form. Grant Acknowledgement guidelines are also outlined on the Grant Award letter. Please note, this form must be submitted within 30 days of receipt of the grant.
