Leonard was a pioneer in the development of the leveraged buyout industry and founded his company Leonard I. Green & Partners, L.P. in 1989. The Green Foundation, with a focus on The Arts, Education, Medical/Scientific Research and Special Projects, seeks to preserve and enhance Leonard's philanthropic vision.
